The UT Seed Swap is a collaborative project between UT Microfarm, UT Farmstand, and Landscaping Services. Our purpose is to provide a space where everyone in the UT community can access and exchange seeds. We hope to increase accessibility to gardening, and raise awareness of seed saving and seed issues in our agricultural system.

We are located in the 2nd floor of the UT Tower. We accept all types of open pollinated seeds such as vegetable, fruit, flowers, and grass seeds. We do not accept invasive seeds.

If you would like to donate seeds, please drop them by the donation box at our location! If you are donating seeds you have personally harvested, please include some basic information about your seeds written on the packet or attached with your seeds. Basic information should include name/variety of plant, general harvest location (county, state), and harvest date. You are welcome to add addition notes if you would like. Please do also fill out this link if you are not able to drop off your donation: Microfarm Form.
