Welcome to Green Events’ new resource hub on the broad and constantly changing issue of waste! The purpose of this page is to provide an accessible and understandable education on different topics within the global material waste dilemma for anyone hoping to learn.
The simplest definition of waste is unwanted or unusable materials. By focusing on four niche waste-related topics, we hope to explain why things become unwanted, who this impacts, and what we can collectively do to make materials wanted again. The four issues that tie together the distribution, impacts, and solutions of material waste are Waste Justice, Greenwashing, The Circular Economy, and Food Waste.
Throughout the page, Green Events provides action items should you feel inspired to make some kind of positive change, whether it be individual or collective.
