Truth

Pursuing reality to challenge current norms: discovery of inequities within the sustainability movement, our government, and our daily lives and educating others so that we are all liberated by the truth to fight for solutions for invisible populations.

Truth is found when we engage in different perspectives. It is within that tension of challenging current norms that we discover inequities within the sustainability movement, our government, and our daily lives and educate others so that we are all liberated by the truth to fight for solutions for invisible populations.

Advocacy

Empowering students with knowledge and tools so that they can be advocates for environmental justice on the 40 acres and beyond. Giving students the authority to speak for themselves and for those who can’t; to be involved in the cultural shift towards a more inclusive campus.

Community

A place where students feel welcome to discuss equity in sustainability with authenticity, empathy and solidarity amongst peers. People of all social, racial, economic and ethnic backgrounds can find harmony without uniformity – justice and sustainability can be achieved through many means and there is room for everyone in this collective effort.
