The Administrative Core Team provides general leadership to the organization, as well as essential administrative services, such as record-keeping, communications, and media content generation. It also assumes responsibility for member recruitment and retention, leadership development, alumni connections, office space maintenance, and member recognition.
This team is charged with the task of “educating the UT community about contemporary environmental issues.” Initiatives have included an interactive demonstration of water quality issues in Flint, Michigan; a visual exhibition addressing waste diversion rates from on-campus sources; and a zero-waste lifestyle workshop series.
This team is charged with the task of “growing a community of students that learn about and take action for the natural environment.” Through community service, CEC members take action to promote causes related to environmental sustainability. Through social gatherings, like-minded students form important friendships and networks of support.
