Ink FAQ
First, thank you for recycling! The program is student and volunteer run, so things may not always run perfectly, and we appreciate your time and effort. Here are the most freqently asked questions:
Our ink cartridges were not picked up. What should I do?
If a staff person does not arrive when promised, please let us know by emailing Ink@UTenvironment.org, and we will re-send someone. Our volunteers are typically very reliable, but they are volunteers, so we cannot guarantee 100% reliability.
How does the program work?
First, you schedule a pick up online on the main ink page. Our Ink Coordinator will let you know when you should expect a pickup, which is usually within a week of your request. Then a volunteer will pick up the ink cartridges.
When can I expect breaks in service?
Because our program is run by student volunteers, we do not pick up cartridges over winter break, spring break, or summer break.
