Something is different with the CEC!
February 14, 2010So, you may have noticed that we have a brand new website, but that's not the only new thing with the Campus Environmental Center.
The CEC has moved from Student Government, where we have been an agency for the past 6 years, and is now housed as a Sponsored Student Organization under the Campus Planning and Facilities Management portfolio within University Operations. We are extremely proud of this move. Student Government was an amazing home for the Campus Environmental Center. We have grown to be a vital part the University of Texas at Austin campus, and we could not have done that without the amazing help and support of everyone in Student Government.
We believe that being housed within Campus Planning and Facilities Management will allow us to grow even more as an organization. It is incredibly exciting to be a Sponsored Student Organization, as it is something that we have been working on for the past few years.
While adjusting to these changes, we ask for your patience. We are learning the new procedures to get things done.
We are also working on getting our website up to date. If a page doesn't work, please let us know by contacting Director@UTenvironment.org. We hope to have the website fully updated by the end of the month.
